Musket Holdings started with a simple observation: the hunting and shooting sports industry runs on software built by people who have never used it in the field. We're shooters, hunters, and Second Amendment advocates ourselves. We decided to be the other kind of company.
We're based in Idaho, the state with the strongest Second Amendment protections in the nation. We build products we own, operate, and use ourselves. WristDope rides on our own wrists at the range. We also take on consulting work for companies in the industry that want AI, agents, or apps built by people who already ship them.
Before this we worked inside an Idaho SaaS startup right after its nine-figure acquisition by a Fortune 500 fintech. We soaked up what made the startup fast, and learned from the best of Silicon Valley SaaS what it takes to run critical software at massive scale. We kept both: stay small and agile, deliver like the big leagues, and do it for the industry we actually live in.
We stay small on purpose. Fewer people, more senior, no theater.
Operators, not vendors
We build products we actual use . Our solutions come from experience, not sales , not "Market Fit", not from a committee. If we wouldn't trust the solution for our own use-cases we won't build it and we won't make false promises just to make a sale.

We run lean and we are very selective of projects we take on. We only work on projects we're passionate about and with companies with the same values and passion for our industry.

American owned and operated
Our code is written in the USA and our infrastructure runs in American data centers. We've worked with offshore teams and seen the disconnect, the quality issue, and the delays and it won't happen here.
